There's a difference between enjoying the sky overhead. By floating abstraction as he writes. Or through actions that result in words connected to concretes, as we anglers live in reality. Or an eye hooked, or any part of the head or gut torn, and I never fished again.
Only little boys fish. Boys have no ability to feel what an animal feels.
Men who are from primitive tribes and must fish and hunt in order to eat, since they have never learned how to survive otherwise in our culture of college and 9-5 jobs and computers, can be forgiven. They have more feeling for the animals and fish and birds than the genteel sport fishermen., The primitive people actually create dances in order to honor the game they must kill. The sportsmen have a beer and mount them on the wall.
Men are not men if they still have to hunt and fish.
Probably they are mostly Trump voters.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00366687350115731346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9209286468796022587.post-18981603820877111262013-01-29T15:55:14.897-05:002013-01-29T15:55:14.897-05:00I think so. Fish those shiners and especially at dusk the pike hit.Bruce Edward Littonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17029604072966031704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9209286468796022587.post-23881930160562437952013-01-29T10:27:15.212-05:002013-01-29T10:27:15.212-05:00Thanks, good to know that Northern Pike is a good ...Thanks, good to know that Northern Pike is a good fish to eat.
