Ship Harbor Trail, Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island, Maine

One-and-a-third-mile Ship Harbor Loop of the Seawall region of Acadia National Park is among the most scenic passages in America. The hour or two I gave to photographing on the short hike was very little compared to many hours I would have spent, slowing way down, and giving the time this extraordinary series--loop actually--of vistas deserves.

Better yet--many visits through all four seasons.

If only I were that serious. The potential is obviously here along this trail.
