Laurie's Report at Last

Last I saw her, until today, Laurie told me she's getting exercise carrying bait up the hill for curbside pickup. That was May and she wasn't renting boats to just anyone yet. Now she even has the report for us:

Better late than never …  Finally a fishing report from Dows Boat Rental. Hoping everyone is fairing well during these crazy times. The Knee Deep Club will be holding their Catfish Contest  beginning at 6 PM  on Sat August 15th until  Noon on Sunday Aug 16. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top 3 heaviest fish, with gift certificates going to 4th, 5th & 6th place.  Catfish are starting to hit, with Joe Orlando landing an 8 pound plus channel cat this past week ,  Jim Welsh with a white cat weighing just over 3 pounds., and Al Tourinsky with a 8 lb 4 oz Channel.  Grab some friends & make your plans to fish this contest,  It’s  always  a fun time ! Other notable catches this past week included a 3 lb 5 oz Largemouth Bass caught by Jake Bozik ,   Jim Welsh again with a 7 lb 5 oz walleye, Jeremy Masso with a 3 lb 8 oz smallmouth, and Pete Rathjens, also with a 3 lb 8 oz smallmouth.  Right now Our shop is open to the public & you are allowed entry as long as you are wearing a mask.  If you’re not comfortable coming in , we will also do curbside pickup. We have shiners, herring & worms available, along with boat rentals and we are open 7 days a week from 6AM - 7PM. Have a great week !
