The Knee Deep Club will be holding their Panfish
challenge on Sunday May 2nd between 5AM to 4 PM. It is a points based contest
for the following panfish, including Sunfish, Rock Bass, yellow and white
Perch, and crappie. Cash prizes will be
based on an 80% payback of entry fees. Eddie Robillard weighed in with some
nice hybrids, hitting the scales at 8 lb & 8 lb 13 oz. Despite the cooler
temps this past week there were many walleye caught. The season for them will
open again on May 1 st. The fish are up shallow and hitting stickbaits and
swimbaits. Crappie continue to be caught, using small shiners and fathead
minnows, along with small rubber jigs under a bobber. The first reported Muskie was caught this
week measuring in at 48 “. Have a great
