Got out for less than hour, fishing upstream of where trout got dumped days ago. We're well into May, and when and where there's a good bug hatch, you can expect these rainbows to respond. But they sure hit salmon eggs this evening.
A friend of mine witnessed a sulfur hatch recently. Rainbows up top all over.
I caught five and had a few others on, missed some hits, too. Once I had the situation figured out, I caught them one after another. And I could have stayed out longer and caught more.
